Someone grab this wagon quickly! This is a PEACH of a deal! One thing I do love about it is that it is very, very well equipped indeed, and is missing one of the options I hate most! It has normal air conditioning, not the horrible climate control. That in itself makes it kind of rare. Having the Premium Sound package means it has the 6 JBL speakers, too, and they are exceptionally good. Being an 89 LS it also has the very safe head rests in it. If I had the money I would be on my way to get it today.

I have never found a single difference between 88 and 89. These were the only 2 years the very safe headrests were available, and only on the Crown Vic LX, Grand Marquis LS, and Lincoln Town Car Signature and Cartier series cars and wagons.

The climate control on these is prone to all sorts of vacuum leaks, plus in really cold weather, it just does not allow enough heat to get the interior really warm. Normally, I pull the vacuum line off the actuator, and I have nothing but full heat. When there are vacuum leaks, and you have the air on in the summer, accelerate or climb a hill, and the blasted system goes to full hot on full defrost! It is a pain to keep it working right. The 88 sedan I just got has it, and I HATE it as much as I remember, but for $500, and I needed a car right now, I was not going to say no.
