While I agree that those are fine examples of very rare cars, at over $9000 asking price I think the sellers will have them for awile.

There is almost no market for those cars, a friend of mine had a 15,000 mile Silver 80 GA that he could not get $5000 for last year. And the 1980 Models have Electronic controlled Carbs and Dist's . And while I thought his car was very interesting, after driving it 1 time I lost interest, the 301 4bbl just doesn't move those cars well, and it was so original I would not have had the heart to install the 400 it needed.

The black car is a 2 owner car. I don't like the fact that the belt molding was replaced with the black trim.
He does have all of the original trim still.
The white car is very nice and is close to being sold. It has been passed around the past few years with a continually rising price tag. It's last move was from Florida to Utah.

Jeff, I'm quite certain the 80 Grand Am did not have the electronic carb.
I may be interested in the silver 80 if it is still available.
I don't recall seeing that one for sale.

I am (kind of) looking for a nice Grand Lemans wagon to hang an extra Grand AM nose on...long time wagon fan....1st time poster...

I spoke to the owner of the Silver 80, he moved to CA last year, and he left the 80 in storage when he could not get $5000 for it, he now plans to have it shipped to Him this summer (maybe I can talk him into letting me drive it out there)

As for the Carb & Dist, I am not 100% sure, but I am under the impression that the only non Electronic Q-jets for the 1980 Model year were Trucks, and 3.8 & 4.1 Buick V-6's. But always happy to be proved wrong. It would be the 1st time today, but not the 1st time this week!!!!!
