Very rare! These two sellers are correct that these are rare Pontiacs - 1980 was the last year for the sporty RWD Grand Am! The black coupe is loaded up with all power, and I always liked the styling! http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/ctd/4340577171.html The white one is also very sharp with the factory built-in digital clock just above the glove compartment and intermittent wipers! http://eastidaho.craigslist.org/cto/4288079414.html
While I agree that those are fine examples of very rare cars, at over $9000 asking price I think the sellers will have them for awile. There is almost no market for those cars, a friend of mine had a 15,000 mile Silver 80 GA that he could not get $5000 for last year. And the 1980 Models have Electronic controlled Carbs and Dist's . And while I thought his car was very interesting, after driving it 1 time I lost interest, the 301 4bbl just doesn't move those cars well, and it was so original I would not have had the heart to install the 400 it needed.
My 02>>> They are both in dire NEED of a 455/T400 setup to make them run like they look!!! I had a 79 GP w/301, what a DOG, blew it up just for SAGs!
The black car is a 2 owner car. I don't like the fact that the belt molding was replaced with the black trim. He does have all of the original trim still. The white car is very nice and is close to being sold. It has been passed around the past few years with a continually rising price tag. It's last move was from Florida to Utah. Jeff, I'm quite certain the 80 Grand Am did not have the electronic carb. I may be interested in the silver 80 if it is still available. I don't recall seeing that one for sale. I am (kind of) looking for a nice Grand Lemans wagon to hang an extra Grand AM nose on...long time wagon fan....1st time poster...

But always happy to be proved wrong. It would be the 1st time today, but not the 1st time this week!!!!!
This loaded 1980 Grand Am coupe is back! It's quite the looker! http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/ctd/4526807037.html
