From one "O" to another, that thing is coming out amazing.
Although, personal preferance I would prefer the 390 that was originally in the car, I think the new powereplant is a killer combo and looks great sitting in the engine bay.
Keep up the good work and keep us updated.

    Depends....
What kind of "Cargo" do you plan to run in that wagon down the backroads?

Well if it's anything like your diet beer, I guess you need a 50 kilo bag.

Got my driveshaft back Friday, picked up a few other bits and pieces over the last few days. Hopefully Monday we will have it running.

Buttoned up the fuel and the electrical system.

Got a chance to turn the key and she fired right off!!! Boo yah!

Pulled all the interior out and sent the seats out for covering.

Also neatened up the trans tunnel so next week we can patch it back in and get ready to wrap up the interior.

With any luck in a couple of Monday sessions, we should be able to road test her.

    I am stoked!

If I need how to post a video, I would post the cranking video. LOL!!

    This was a good week.
My boy Tony got my rear seat cover stitched up with a quickness. I think it came out great!
This weekend Tony and I will be installing the sound deadenerand stretching out and installing the rubber floor covering that I want to use in the car and hopefully buttoning most of the interior up. I will post pics of that. I am expecting it to be pretty difficult because the rubber material is pretty heavy.
I wasn't able to work on the car yesterday but my partner Jeff helped me keep the progress going. He fabricated and installed the new trans tunnel. It looks awesome:

He also found a great place for the gauges. He cut them into the dash just below the ash tray. They came out great!
He installed the oil and trans dipsticks which required a little bit of tweaking:

Jeff also got a bunch of the brakes plumbed and installed the proportioning valve. Tomorrow night we will fabricate the brake rod and maybe finish up the last of the brake lines.
Our plan for next Monday is to finish up the exhaust since all that is left is teh hard part! :D
Another couple of days' work and we should be putting test miles on her!
