I know Plymouth and maybe Dodge had some dash mounted mirrors back in the early 60's but didn't know Buick offered them? and maybe This car might have a gas 350 Buick engine in it? They were offered up til 1980 I think?
It Looks like the standard engine was the big 4.2 V-6, the optional engines were as follows 301 Pontiac V-8, 350 Olds Gas and Diesel, and yes a Buick 350 V-8 was still available. My mother had a 1980 that originally had a 301 Pontiac in it. I swapped in a Stock 350 Pontiac 4bbl. Made a totally different and much better car out of it. It even got slightly better MPG. I think that Mirror has just fallen onto the dash. I would be leary buying a car from someone that was to cheap, lazy, or did not know how to reattach a rear view mirror! But for the asking price if it were close to me I would have to look at it.
The white letter tires are there because they are light truck tires. Finding car tires these days that have the weight rating for these old boats is not easy, and these tires are not overly expensive. The mirror falling off is not big deal at all. For the money, it would be hard to go far wrong with this one.
