Hello I have a problem to close my tailgate on my WAGON FORD LTD. I am forced to raise the right side in order to close it. Can we repair the hinge? Axis? Where can I find the part? thank you
What year is your Station wagon? The second picture looks like its for a 1985 wagon (E5xx). The part on EBAY has numbers for a 1966 wagon (C6xx). If you have access to a Hollander parts exchange manual (At the Library) you should check that out, otherwise a Ford Dealer that was around back in the 1960s might be able to tell you. You can't find any part numbers on you car's parts?
I second calling ford and crossing some numbers. Looks real close to what you need but, the pics don't give enough detail.
You can also Google "obsolete ford parts" and it'll give you three or four obsolete suppliers, who have listings by part number, an email address, or a phone number to find if they have some of those parts. Incidentally, Green Sales has full microfiche sets, if you have a reader to read them.
