So what do you all think of this car?

    It looks nice, but ...

    1. rear bumper painted same as body

    2. passenger side rear quarter panel has strange curve to it. Like someone did a fibreglass repair on a badly rusted panel and didn't know the correct shape. Compare it to the driver's side. Or maybe it's just a trick of the photography lighting?

    3. overspray on the engine block. Why can't people just leave the engine block unpainted, in it's original state? Why try to tart the car up, and do it badly?

    4. carpet looks like some cheap indoor/outdoor carpet from Wal-Mart. Didn't even attempt to match the original brown carpet color.

The car looks good, but little things like this make you wonder about the car. :hmmm:

    Just a quick prep-and-sell job?

Boy that's pretty and I really like the color too. Unfortunately the ad description doesn't give me any confidence as to the condition of this baby, how she drives, rust and so forth. This plus the things Jim pointed out has me running away. And I agree, a quick paint job and interior without much effort to the details.

Y'all sure do get picky on these old cheap cars. I would say anything under 12,000 would be a deal. It'll probably only bring 8.

It's not cheap if the reserve has not been met, and even then... "if' any of us would/was considering buying it, yup we would be picky and so would you;)

Nice car. With the price of chrome, I am not surprised the bumper is painted.

I'm not against anyone making a buck or two and I work at not being too critical when reviewing these ads. But I agree with Jim in the sense that this was a quick 'resto' and sell. The premise is, not a lot of effort, make the cosmetics nice and let the buyer beware.
