my explanation wasn't good I guess.. so I add little more detail Currently, we are experiencing unusual cold weather in here at VA. I started it and drove it a week ago. I was tried to fire up today but it's not starting. It was cranking weak first time didn't fire up. After bout 30 sec tried again and cranking even weaker.. and now not even cranking. I think it's not a battery, it's got new battery and I tried to jump start as well.. didn't work. I don't even get that 'click' sound. Thanks,
Check your ground cable connections, too. Make sure they are clean and tight. They might look OK, but there could be corrosion that is not visible.
First I would suggest testing the battery and/or charging/trying a jump start. I'm not trying to be a smart @zz, ok..... But if you let is sit for a week in cold temp and it's dead, you most likely have answered your own question.....
If the battery is good and it won't jump start then I would definitely check the cables over closely. Like Jim said sometimes the corrosion is not seen at first. If you have a test light have someone turn the ignition to the start posistion then see if you have power to both terminals on the starter, especially the small terminal.
X2 what Vista said. I had to jostle the shifter on my old '72 Colony Park to make sure I was in either Park or Neutral. Afterwards she fired right up.
Also, Don't always assume that because the battery is new that it is good. I've had 3-month old batteries that were bad. I would do like these guys say and check for corrosion, the terminals, and everything else, but if you can"t find anything, double check the battery.
