http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/cto/4282693922.html 1987 Buick Century Estate Wagon $700 OBO - $700 (delhi) "1987 Buick Century Estate Wagon. Runs great, quiet, brand new muffler, new brake line, new gas filter, new front brakes, outside is rusted, inside is in mint condition. No rips, tares, or stains inside. Best working heat/ defrost system I've ever had in a car. I've had the car for about 8 months now and have had very minor issues that were all fixed by a trip to O' Reillys. Very easy to work on, great car to get back and forth to work or to use as a work vehicle. Ample space inside, good on gas. Please text me if interested or call anytime after 5 P.M. I can send more pictures on request over text or email as well. Thanks" Only this one pic:
This has the vent windows in the very back. Probably has third row seating (but not necessarily, you could order the vent windows on the two seat model, but you couldn't have the third seat without vent windows unless it was added later). Engines this year include an anemic 2.5 liter four, Chevy 2.8 MPFI V6, and the Buick 3.8 V6. The 2.5 sips fuel but can't get out of its own way and can't have an overdrive (not enough power in 3rd in lockup so no sense having a 4th gear). The 3.8 is a guzzler in town but is OK on the highway because all 3.8's got overdrive automatics. That leaves the 2.8 as a good compromise, and that engine could have either the 3 or 4 speed automatic. I like this, and it's only $700, and it's a light shade of maroon, close to red, I suppose I could use it for roadside assistance. Plain hubcaps, probably no power windows or locks or cruise, but who knows, back then you COULD still order a car mostly however you wanted...
