Hey all, I'm back to say hey and I'm in hot pursuit of another T/C. This time it's a 69, 440, duaxhaust, 727, 8 3/4, DUAL AIR (way cool) PW, gold, no roof rack, greenish intrerior. It's currently on the road and is priced in my budget. I know it has some rust, looking to see how much (remember the last time) I hope to have pics this weekend and might check it out Sunday. I hope it can turn out and I can give it a good home. I'm a sap, just want one soo bad. Anyway more to follow.MPJ
Cant wait to see it! I love my T&C more than any other car I've had in the past. I actually took the roof rack off mine to give it that lower/sleeker look.
saw it I just got back from looking at it. Here's the lowdown. The wagon was last on the road in 2006. The wagon has 84k miles on it. The body is pretty good. Rust on the lower 1/4's, a small hole in each dogleg, rust on the passenger fender down low, small pin holes in the trailgate lower edge, the doors, around the windows- the pinholes are not major. The floors/frame seems solid the 440 started right up and ran smooth, no undo nise or smoke. We took it around the block and it's tight/solid with plenty of power (really!) The car needs a good cleaning, tires, and a brake inspection and could hit the road. The interior is fair/good. Needs cleaning, carpet, (in the passenger part) the dor pannels need some TLC, small rips llose clips ect. The armrest need replaced. The power windows work but need TLC. The car is well equiped, 440, duals, 8 track, pwr seat, pwr door locks 4 speakers. Well I could go on for a while, but the most important thing is I BOUGHT IT!!
OK, it's sat night the 14th, I'm ready with rollbackand $. Sunday is pick up day, let the fun begin. I hope to have it home by late morning. I will try and post pics tommorrow! Wish me smooth sailing!MPJ
