Great price there, assuming everything is in order. Someone needds to jump on this one. That would be worth an airplane ticket to SeaTac to drive home.

He's got the year wrong. It's at least an '88, if not newer.

1988 was the changeover year to this style, so he may have been looking at the dor jamb sticker and read the build date of 1987, perhaps.

    88. This blue was not available in 89. Also: This is the ORIGINAL windscreen. The black at the bottom cuts down under the VIN, not having a cut out for the VIN. Also, this windshield IS the InstaClear unit. Replacing it is a $1,000 proposition, and not many still have it. The 24 carat gold is not inexpensive! Over all, it looks like all it needs is the one wheel well molding. Someone needs to grab this one and love her! She's rare!

I think a good detail job would go a long way on this one. Looks decent. Wonder if that dent on the front quarter could be smoothed out without disturbing too much??

Doesn't look to bad, yet the dents.

    Passenger fender...

And if you blow up the pic, the drivers rear quarter needs a lot more than just the molding, I'm thinking a personal viewing would tell you the entire wheel well is showed in a bit, and the strange buckle dent at the tail lite. Most likely a good driver but would cost a few bucks including new wood all around because of the quarter panel damage. I'd say maybe $1000 and drive it as is but get a tail lite. Myself, I'd have to pass on this one because, and yet how I want another Collony

I will always love my Mercs but I do so much prefer the previous grille and headlamps setup. Still though...
 I love this colour too! I think I have nail polish to match. :rofl2:

If this one were something approaching close, I would be all over it. Even with the dents and dings, this is one sweet car to drive. Someone save her. And remember, that windscreen is an expensive part! Not many have that still. It looks like this one has the top line Value Package, and that included almost every option in the books, including power seats both sides and the top line High Level Sound System, which was a one up from the Premium Sound. Unfortunately it also includes automatic climate control.

What??? :D I make no secret of the fact the my wife and I are avid nail polish wearers. As a matter of fact. I insist on wearing nail polish whenever I can. Thankfully I work for a company that supports and accepts such things. :tiphat: Been wearing nail polish for nearly 12 years and I ain't stopping now. It doesn't affect my ability to work or what kind of person I am.
