Sold my 73 Caprice Estate to AK27 to fund my Turbo Trans Am purchase. I thought I was done with wagons for now. Well........that didn't last long. I traded my 1973 Monte Carlo to hatetank for his 1972 Pontiac Wagon. I will have to say this is a great wagon. It has a extremely solid body, minor rust on the left dogleg, left lower edge of the rear quarter and a few spots along the drip edge on the roof. Interior is very clean with a perfect dash. It is a pretty plain jane car but it has appeal. 455/400 turbo, new headers and 2.5 Flowmaster exhaust that sounds just awesome. I will get some pictures of it tomorrow so everyone can see what I looks like

Sorry Guys, it was dark when I got home. Anyway, first picture is from last night when I brought it home. After further review here is a full assessment. Car has a minor dent on right front fender, very little ryst on the right rear dogleg, spare tire well is perfect. Left rear quarter has a hole clear through about the size of a golf ball and the dogleg is very crunchy. There are 2-3 holes above the left hand doors and about the same on the right side. Rear window lips are excellent with no sign of rust. Woodgrain is very good except under the door handles, there are spots that are peeling. Interior is very very good. Dash has no cracks on the top and no warpage. It is chippedon the left side where it comes down to meet the cluster, nothing major. seats are excellent as is the headliner. Door panels are very good except for the drivers side which has some fading. Build sheet is in decent shape and the car was built in St Therese plant Canada. Car has no power options and manual tailgate. For some reason I just can't find a power gate car. the last 4 wagons I have had since the Buick have been manual gates. Overall it is a great start for a restoration wagon. I will have this one repainted, factory white and probably will just clean the woodgrain up and use it as is. I will get better pictures over the weekend
