Just got the message tonite.....the friends who got silverfoxes wagon just don't have the room for it, and as much as it hurts them, they have no choice but to sell it....they contacted me and I wanted to let all of you know in case anyone was interested, as I know one of you would give it a good home. While I'd love to have it, I currently have too many projects and no room myself, so I wanted to let you all know.....

    heres the link and number.....

Why does the dash and side door panels look different than the other RMW I have seen? Don't know the history of the car, mind you.

I had no idea that the production numbers were that low - 485 - for 1996! Rare beast! Hopefully, someone will buy the car that will appreciate the car as much as Silverfox did.

Fox's wagon is a Caprice. In my hunts for replacement door panels for my RMW I found that Caprice's have different interior panels than the Buicks did. The Caprice door panels are similar to those that were included on the 91-93 RMW's. In '94 they went to different panels.

I've wondered about that wagon. I'm like the rest. Hope a station wagon lover, hopefully a member here, gets it.
Even if I could afford it and had room I just couldn't own Mike, Silverfox's car.
    We miss you foxy!:162:

As I said, just wanted to let the members here know about it....what they didn't put in the ad, and I'm sure people are aware of, is that this does have dual exhaust, and that the motor isn't "quite" original....lol....it's been warmed over some, and runs like a CHAMP.....

I've got enough going on in my life right now, and when I got the call last nite it really brought me down once again.....I'm fortunate to own one car that Mike used to own...my '72 Cutlass...it's how I met him, as I bought the car from him.......

As was said, I hope someone buys it who truly appreciates it, and cares for it like Mike did......damn I sure do miss him...

Had I not just bought that Ford CS, I'd be very interested.

Byron, the person selling it, should be the same Byron that accompanied Mike on the inspection trip to see my Safari.......

warmed over is putting it mildly.....its a lingenfelter crate motor! i remember him doing that swap. i really hope someone on this forum can buy it...only we know the history of that car and the legend that was silverfox. (as opposed to the average CL tire kicker) I wish i had the cash...i really miss the fox and this would put his ride in loving hands....
