Thanks all. Who said first? In the early spring he was saying $1000...... And then it was $800.....and then at the end he really didn't care but he was worried about the brakes and the holes in the floor and he had convinced himself already that the car wasn't worth much AND he just wanted to be rid of it.

I think he may have said something around 400 and I came back with 300 which he accepted right away.

I spent 435.00 to get it roadworthy. So .....$735.00. For a beautiful car.

What an awesome deal!!! Can you find me one for that price? Anything in a roadmaster wagon that looks half that nice is in the $4000 range around here. I have been told that mine is worth $1000 and that is with 265,000 miles and LOTS of rust! Great deal cute Doggie congrats:2_thumbs_up_-_anima. Take care Dan

For a whopping total of $735, you can't beat that at all!

Cute Pup, yet she looks so sad....the kind of doggy sad eyes saying, "Why am I in the back seat when there is a great big way back behind me?'

RESCUE, my favorite breed of animal, good on you:tiphat:

To me she looks like she is just waiting to go for that drive that he promised.

Awesome deal, I think you need to thank the mechanic that put all that doubt in the pervious owners mind. :) Congratulations...enjoy.

$300! you must hit yourself over the head with a mallet to sleep at night. Good grief that's a deal, it doesn't look that rusty up top, hows the underside? Congratulations.

Underside had 4? Small holes right where people's feet go. And a small hole in the frame. That's 435.00 was for. The previous owner had it under coated faithfully every year. It's a one owner car, btw.

Just him since new. And he babied it. Can't hear or feel it running at lights. Butter smooth. I almost want to pimp it up a little with some tint and mags......but it's simplistic beauty is so.......right already.

They'll probably be more interested in the murder

Just don't make a mess of the wagon. I almost bought a Roadmaster corpse hauler, and it didn't have any blood in the back, so there's no reason to keep the cargo bay of a regular Roady clean as well.

270 ,000 k. A very well taken care of car. The previous owner also has a 94 Lincoln that he may sell and it's as good as the roadie, I may pick it up.....just because!
