Here is my wagon. Not sure if I can post any pics yet. I have been working on this car for several years and have enjoyed taking it on several trips. it has 41k on it now. I put it on ebay with a mild reserve, and it is almost there. I hope to rescue another wagon in the future. I grew up with them and my kids now love them. I teach Automotive to high school students and most of them have no idea what a wagon is. I also have a 70 maverick and a 71 Lincoln Mark iii
Welcome Marv! Love your Colony Park! Absolutely gorgeous color! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima I think this is the nicest '74 CP I've seen since these were new! David
Thanks for the compliment!! Thanks. I hope to post more pics, I have been busy answering questions form ebayers. There is more pics and info on the listing. I was hoping to sell it local so I still get to see it at shows. I am sure I will be showing this car off for a long time even after it is sold. By the way, for anyone interested, I couldn't find hideaway actuators or parts anywhere. I ended up buying corvette ones for 60 bucks and made some brackets and they work GREAT!!
Hey Marv. Welcome to the forum. I fell in love with your car last Spring at Carlisle. I chatted with, I think it was your Dad, for a while. It is one beautiful Colony Park. I've got an '87 but always wanted a '73-78. I wish I was in a better financial position; I'd buy your's in a minute. Good luck. I hope it goes to a good home.
Must have been my dad. He usually comes up to Carlisle with me. i only have that spot for the spring show. Not sure what i will have there next spring, im almost done with my Maverick and i got a Mark iii that i picked up this summer that i rescued. Feel free to stop by and visit if you are there again.
Beautiful wagon. Surely going to be some regrets selling that one........ Actually, instead of selling it, I think you need to BUY something to GO WITH IT - like one of these:
regret I already miss it and it is still here. practically giving it away.. I keep telling myself that I can always get another one. i couldn't even find one to compare.lol There was someone interested in it to pull an vintage airstream i just cant keep everything....... i need a darn pole barn. oh yeah and some land to put it on. i live in a development on .3 acre lol:banghead3:
