wow that looks really nice look behind the rear wheels, where the side exit exhaust has been added - I don't see any rust at all power everything but not the 403 - were '77 350s also painted blue? i thought they were gold or black there's not enough digits in the VIN provided: 8W72Z199947 it should begin 3Q35 for an Olds CC Wagon 4-door wagon; "Z" is Freemont but I can't account for the discrepancy, even if the first "3" were mistaken for an "8" it's still not right
Down to $2300 on craigslist. Not bad for loaded with power options. http://kalispell.craigslist.org/cto/4136725102.html
I am wondering which 350 is under the hood. Back then, it depending on where the car was being delivered which engine was installed. It could be the Oldsmobile, sure. It could also be the Chevrolet 350, and there is also a reasonable chance it is the Buick 350.
that is an Oldsmobile V8 - easiest tell is the oil filler tube the VIN (they've posted the correct VIN now - 3Q35R7X214568) also indicates an Olds 350
I concur, everything in the of that engine bay says genuine Olds V8. Why isn't this car sold yet?
He's certainly going the wrong way on price. His first ebay auction got 11 bids and ended at $2125, only $175 less than what he's asking now on craigslist. Why didn't he just take that high bid? It was certainly close enough in my book. (Of course, while he could have offered the car to the high bidder, the high bidder was not obligated to take the car based on ebay's rules about reserve-price auctions.) His second ebay auction ended with only 2 bids and at only $1075. It's apparently not been listed for a third time. Now it's on craigslist.
