    Hi All,
Joined up to read & learn before purchasing. The Mrs & I would love to find a not so perfect good driver to put around town in. I'm partial to the early 70's Ford LTDs, AMCs or Chevys but open to whatever, as long as it's large :) We currently have an 07 Magnum wagon and drive the snot out of it.

    Welcome to the SWF, Shannon!

(Wow, just had a quick daydream when I saw what else you owned. Hmmmm - A Delorean STATION WAGON! There must be a photo shop of one around somewhere.....)

Obviously don't know you at all, but with a Magnum and a Delorean, I'm thinking maybe one of these:

    1. Big Chrysler Town & Country - anything from '60 to '77
This one's a '77 I think. Note: you need a really big garage to fit one of these in.

    2. Mercury Grand Marquis Colony Park - '67 - '91
Later ones are still fairly plentifulf, and they're pretty reliable.
If you go for one of these later ones (built from '79-'91), I'd recommend a later one ('86 on ) with electronic fuel injection. The one shown is a '91

    3. Pontiac Bonneville Safari - '62-'69
I'm kind of partial to old Pontiacs. IMO, the mid 60's Pontiac Safaris were some of the most beautiful wagons ever made. Great engines, too. Here's a 1964:

Others here will throw up their suggestions.

Welcome aboard! Looks like you've maximized the load capacity of your Magnum! Good luck on your wagon search - keep us posted on your progress.

    Thanks all,

I know of 2 Photoshopped DMC Wagons. One 2 door & one 4 door. The 4 door version is get'n a bit silly (see below).

The looks of that Pontiac are tuff. I really like the 60's styling too but figured they may be out of my affordability.

Yup - I agree completely. The Delorean wouldn't make a practical wagon anyway, considering it's got a rear engine - and a fairly tall one at that.
