good morning, new to the site, new to owning station wagon! need some help - tailgate problem. seems to have a manual roll down back window. the 9-tooth (?) gear is missing. does anyone know where to get part and how it attaches to your assembly? also need felts for each side of glass. looking forward to browsing this site, thanks in advance for any help!
I've seen that sort of thing pop up on ebay from time to time (usually the whole tailgate window mechanism). If you go to ebay, select ebay motors, then select parts and accessories, then select vintage parts and accessories, then put a search string together that looks something like this "1963 Ford Country Squire tailgate", then you can save that search (and add any same-parts for other body year, e.g. 1964?) searches - then you'll get emails if anything pops up.
