Oh the Chevy Cavilieradac or is it a Cadivilier???? You give me $500 just to talk about how much you'll pay me to take that off your hands!
hey, hey, hey, what? Actually almost bought one of those red ones once(it was even that color red)... But it had an exhaust leak, or so the dealer said, and we got our first Taurus instead.
You're gonna be a little short with that $10k...... http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/carsforsale/cadillac/eldorado_brougham
57-58 Eldorado Brougham One of my favorite cars, interesting read on the 57-58 Eldorado Brougham....http://www.mcsmk8.com/58-CAD/58-ELDO.HTM
This would be a $60k car IF Elvis had owned it AND he had died in it AND the blonde that he was having relations with when he died was still sitting in it AND she had $50k on the seat next to her.
Thanks for posting that link. Always loved them, and also knew they were extremely under-valued in the collector car market. Problem for me was I never even had the $10-15k that it would have taken to pick up one of these 15 years or so ago........ Also, I'm not talking about a total 'project' for $10-15k - you could pick up a very decent example for that price. No, not one like pictured in the link, but a pretty nice one.
What a land yacht! Might this be the biggest Caddy ever produced? And why is the outboard headlight on the port side pointed down I wonder?
Yeah, I think this was actually the longest production car ever made and maybe even the heaviest. It is a nice car and I like it, I like all of the older GM sedans like this, but I just didn't think it was $60K nice. lol. This was the same basic design as the GM clamshell wagons (I think that windshield would work in any clamshell), but the windshield and wipers are probably the only interchangeable parts. I am sure many of the wagon fans here are aware that there were actually some "custom" clamshell wagons made in this body style in the early 70s, but by the mid 70s, they seemed to be of this design... Here is a 75-76 with the clamshell design... interestingly this one appears to have a 1971 GM tailgate, but you can tell that the clip and instrument panel is clearly a 75-76 Caddy. Now here is an ultimate Caddy wagon!!
This should fix it http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buick-Ponti...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item5642072959
