460 V8. Interior pics would be nice. Exterior looks solid. http://baltimore.craigslist.org/cto/4032326520.html
I don't get it, is there a limit on pics that you can post on Craigslist? I have mine for sale on Kijiji with 10 pics and Autotrader with 20 pics as that is the limit on both. You want a potential customer to have a good idea what you have for sale so that you won't get unnecessary calls or emails. Maybe some people just can't be bothered.
I don't get it either , we even have members who have posted on site there own wagons with ZERO pics, parts, parts car, with not even a discription....???? From what I see though, IMO wheels make a difference and can be swapped, but the black mags take away from what the car could really be.
I like that a lot. If I didn't have my Montego wagon, I might be making a trip to MD. Wonder if it originally came with a 460? If the interior is as nice as the exterior looks, this wagon could be a good deal.
Very good looking '74 Gran Torino Squire wagon priced reasonably at $3500. http://baltimore.craigslist.org/cto/4032326520.html
hey, hey, hey, what? I'd buy it... Even with the stupid after market rims. It's in the right color, too...
I like it. The rims would have to go, as well as that whip antenna. Other than that, would be a sweet ride!
Bump!!! 460 V8 engine. I just really, really like this '74 Ford Gran Torino Squire Wagon! Very good vibrant blue paint color and the big engine - I'd love interior photos! http://baltimore.craigslist.org/cto/4032326520.html
That would normally mean light surface rust only, no rust through, no rust from the inside. Because of the tuck under at the bottom, the lower front fenders and quarters behind the wheels do tend to get scoured by road grit. If that is all it is, it can be fixed for a very small amount of work in the driveway, for under $100, and a few hours of work.
The wheels and tires look sort of "Mad Max" to me, which seem incongruent with the formal, stand-up hood ornament, which is spring-loaded to help prevent you from impaling hapless pedestrians. Maybe if the hood ornament was replaced with one of those WWI German helmet spikes, and was NOT spring-loaded for safety's sake, that would pull the whole look together.
