I collect '64 Dodge Dart Station Wagons (33 years) and always need especially wagon only parts. I need rear quarter panels that aren't too rusty and restorable. I have a friend who wants a good 63-66 Dart or Valiant wagon. Serious buyer in California and Washington but will travel for a good wagon. I also collect old LPS, 45s, 78s and cylinders. Always looking for good collections and estates.
respect for station wagons I'm the original 64 Dodge Dart Wagon guy who has always preferred wagons to convertibles, GT's over anything else.I have restored one, gathering parts to restore the second and have another that I just got that needs rear quarter panels. I live in Santa Cruz, Ca but also spend a lot of time in Washington State, where I have to have one up there, too, as I fly back and forth most of the time. I don't drive modern cars, ever. I haven't driven anything but 64 Darts, and have one 64 GT, down from two of those at one time. I would trade the GT for a good 64 Dart wagon.
Somebody in the bay area was selling a '65/'66 Dart wagon (can't remember which year) for quite a while. Beige in color, IIRC. Was far from perfect, but certainly driveable. Had a V8 I believe. Near downtown SF I think. Can't find the ad now - probably gone. Searching... I drop in there occasionally. Welcome to the forum. Marshall
Craigs list posts So far all the craiglist posts I've looked into have vanished, and probably sometimes without the car being sold. I wasn't aware of the A Body site. Do you have a link? I do go to the slantsix.org site which is run by two Dart Wizards that I've known for over 30 years.
I'm Jim 68Cuda on the For A Bodies Only Mopar forum (FABO). Not very original I guess. http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/search.php?searchid=3791756 Meanwhile, before you give up your Dart GT and start on the restoration of that 3rd wagon, does this picture give you any ideas? This was at the Chrysler show at Carlisle last month.
Jim, I love that maroon 65 Barracuda/Valiant 2 door wagon in Carlisle. I'd love to have one similiar to it.
