    Large wagon, large money. I dare say this one might be worth those big bucks this time.

    License plate frame appears to read Guaranty Chevrolet in Santa Ana, CA., one of the dealers in my old neck of the woods. They're still in business, too.

    Beauty wagon, eh? :)

    I notice the build sheet calls for a 427/335hp label fer the air cleaner. Looks like its currently wearing a 390hp one?? The base 396's were rated at 335hp back in the day. Maybe this was an insurance ploy I dunno? :confused:

    The '69 big Chevy brochure shows the 396 that was available was 2-barrel model with 265hp. The 2 427 engines produced 335 and 390hp, respectively.

    Kinda surprised about that 2-barrel 396.......
