Not mine and no knowledge of the car. I am just reposting

1959 ford ranch wagon 4 door 351w that I invested $40,000 into. The car came back to me finger tight and unfinished. Sweet old car that I've had for the last 12 years and hate to let it go but I've ran out of money. It's has $10,000 in the motor alone. Emails only please. Send me pictures of what you have to trade. Just because its not together doesn't mean I'm giving it away. But as you can see my lose your gain.

I'm sorry, but the only way I see 40,000.00 in that car is if there's a bag with 30,000.00 inside it...........

Depending on how much rust repair and straightening was needed, that could be $20,000 in bodywork and paint at restoration shop labor rates.

The materials alone (primer, base and clear) for my car cost well over $2000.

WOW! I've had projects get out of control, but, PLEASE, 40,000.00 and it's not even done? What would any of you pay for this car when it's completed? 12 - 15K?

On the right vehicle, you could put $20,000 or so into body and paint and maybe get some or all of your money back when selling it. A '59 Ford Ranch Wagon isn't one of those vehicles.
