I recently climbed through the window of an old bard (was allowed to be there) and came across and old Studebaker Wagon and matching sedan. Heres a factory pic of both.

    http://www.ritzsite.net/63Stude/03_63stude.htm.

I love the sliding roof on these old wagons. If i had the time and money i'd get both and use the sedan for parts, there was just a little rust on the front top drivers fender of the wagon. The interiors are trashed due to mouse infestation. I could probably get these for real cheap if anyone has the desire.

That's a pretty cool looking car..

BTW, I used to live in P.G. up across from Art Knapps.. I was real sad to see the Columbus burn down, a friend sent me e-mails in real time as it was burning.

Very cool. A swoppy nose and cool tail fins all on a wagon. Could you get any better combination?

Theres one 1958 Packard wagon here in Norway and its newly restored. I have seen it. It attended in the Norwegian route66 tour. Perhaps some of you have read, seen or heard about the norwegian guys shipping their cars from Norway to the US to drive the old route 66? They drove all the way from Chicago to LA. No car newer that 1960. All cars made the whole trip :whew:
