I can count how many wagons I see a month on 1 hand. Today I needed a new pair of boots so my wife and I get on I-12 to go to boot store and as I am crusin' at 75 mph a beautiful Yellow and white '57 2 door wagon blows by me in the left lane with Texas plates! Maybe coming from Power Tour:confused: not sure but he was definitely headed towards Texas...quickly, couldn't help but smile and wave as he went by!
Good questions. I even let it slip by that 1tireman failed to tell the kind of wagon, body style, what kind of wheels and tires it had and other things a GOOD station wagon member always notices. Must have been too busy thinkin about those boots made for walkin! Probably a Chevy to be moving that fast!
Sorry did leave out some important detail, it was a '57 Chevy assuming handy man wagon since it had the 150 trim. I have a outdated phone, it does have a camera but not sure how to use it...I just got the computer thing a few years ago and having made friends here has help my computer skills but still no luck with phones and as fast as he was moving I'm lucky I seen what I seen!
Don't feel bad 1tireman. We have two cell phones. There are pictures in one two years old. All we know how to do is talk on them.
Talking on the phone; what a novelty. Seems a lot of people, especially the young 'uns, do everything with their phones except actually talk on them.
Our son, nearly 24, and his friend 21, came over to help rebuild some board fence and eat tacos with us. They were here over eight hours. Except for the time they actually held a 16' board up to nail the first few nails both were talking and texting. These kids don't know that many other people down here! I often wonder how we survived with only the home phone which we rarely got to use. Or even wanted to. Then the pay phones outside shops and on walls where we might call on every few months. What do those kids need phones for? Yes I know. So they can sit in a fast food joint and talk to each other so adults can't hear them.
