You can always hit "Edit" on the lower right and fix a posting, even after it's posted, if you see a problem.

I think someone already butted it

:banghead3: :p This one would be perfect to make into something for racing. There's a maroon one up the road from me that should be restored to new but will probably get the custom treatment.

    3 speed...

Does anybody know if Chevy offered an overdrive with the three on the tree, like Studebaker did? With my little 259 v-8, and a 3.73 rear gear, I can leave lots of cars at the light, and by engaging O/D on the interstate, I turn 2400 rpms at 75 mph. and get 21+ mpg.(y)

We have two cell phones. One actually has a camera in it. Both are text and internet capable................... We are not! :(
Way back when I saw my first wooden box phone hanging on Auntie's farm house wall and Grandma's black desk top dial thing resembling a dog bone in a cradle, my wife and I learned to master talkin and listenin. That's as far as we've ever gotten!

Sent on a desk top computer via hunt and peck .

After moving to Florida in1994 we looked at a 1957 Chevy handyman wagon with three on the column and overdrive and six. My son was only five when we looked at it and he's still mad because I didn't buy it for him.
What's amazing is Studebaker went under and the BIG THREE are still struggling. I wished Studebaker and a few others were still here.

Chevrolet offered overdrive on the three speed manual transmission.
