I think if I had it to do over again, I would at least look into that U-ship outfit. I had to wait for 3 weeks or so before my broker even had one bid on the job. His excuse was that the pick-up and destination points were not near the normal transportation corridors (LaCrosse Wis to Portland, OR). This was also in early December. Ended up paying about $200 more than originally quoted, and the wagon was driven on the road, during a snowstorm, from Seattle to Portland - not on the back of a truck. (Yes, I had to go 100 miles north to pick it up from Portland myself.) Only other alternative is to contract with a carrier that specializes in vehicle shipping. You're gonna pay more though.
I now have in my possession a 1975 Olds Cutlass Cruiser. American Arrow Transport(uship) receive 5 stars from me for an absolutely perfect transport.Only bad thing is I won't be able to play until Friday.Gotta work.
ALRIGHT, big!! Can't wait to see it and I'm happy for you that it DID finally come quickly and with no problems. We will be waiting!
