Ugh!! I wish I could get one!! I like my 68 but the 66 Falcon has a spot in my heart since I had a 66 Ranchero and a 66 Falcon it would be great to have a 66 wagon! I would drop a mild 302 in it and be done. I was in the workings of getting a 67 with a 6 in it just like this but the guy would not take less than $6500 for it so I had to let it go.
Beautiful car, but I agree, it needs a V8. The 6 just is not enough engine, especially when loaded. Like driving a Torino wagon in disguise, too, since that is precisely what this is. The brake/tail lamp assemblies even interchange. Swap the front clip and dash and the deed is done. Same body.
