93k miles. 455 V8. All power options. 3rd seat. All the right equipment. This Olds could be quite a find but interior photos are desperately needed. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1971...14934722?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item3f1b599c2
Hmmmm. One spot of rust through mentioned, plus bathtub caulk sealing one of the roof windows. No mention of the lovely dent in the driver's quarter panel, and that looks like a bit of a nasty one. I have a feeling his price is high for a far from pristine, albeit well optioned, wagon.
More pics have been added to this ad. This Olds clearly has issues, and it doesn't look like it will sell.
This one has many issues, and some of them are going to be quite pricey to fix. This one really needs a full restoration to save it, and it needs it soon. Left for much longer, and the rust is going to win the war, I'm afraid.
I still think there is a lot this car needs to bring it back to rights, and that is going to be an expensive proposition. A great car, on the cusp of being savable for a reasonable amount of money. I hope someone with the money and time gets it and does it up right.
My Vista Cruiser was ten times worse than that. I picked it up in Wisconsin and it was originally from California too. My car had none but the roof rust is almost a given on 90% of the Vistas. The quarter panel bonk would be a pain to do fix but fixable, at least it isn't rusted out and there's steel to fix. It looks like a really nice resto candidate otherwise, it has the 455 and is a three seater so it's got everything going for it. It could look exactly like this someday. Funny...I didn't notice that Sasquatch walking through in the background when I took the pic??
So the ebay ad says it's in Arizona but the Craigs list ad says its in Wisconsin, But yet both ads have the same pics. What gives? Did some one in Wisc buy it and trying to resell? Anyway I think its a pretty good car. I think both these ads are active- Makes me wonder If the location on these ads are accurate in general.
