I haven't visited in a while and when I logged in I see this: "Hello tbirdsps it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?" Here's the rules I grew up with: 1. couple means two 2. some means 3-5 3. Several means 6-7 I'm afraid I've exceeded the several rule by a few times.
I like the land barge but have you thinned the herd any or are you collecting like the Rev? The Vette is great. I drive it a couple of times a week and have been attending car shows. The sad part is I haven't seen a wagon at a car show now in over a year. Nor have I heard from the fellow I sold the Cougar to over two years ago now. I miss it a little and should have done the engine transplant I was considering. Oh well, an old guy like me is happily in his second childhood with the Vette. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima This forum has exploded!! I was member 25 and now 8,739! Wow. No wonder wagons are going up in price so much.
Glad your having fun with the Vette You havn't seen wagons at car shows..... sheeze I don't see any othes anymore perioud, unless they are fairly new in years. I havn't even seen a whale Caprice wagon in months. Thinning the herd.... I kinda want to, but I kinda don't.......For Sale by word of mouth only on my island, but I posted them here. I figure the low price would/could compinsate for ferry co$t http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23781 Soooooo, you been looking for another wagon? There have been a few Fox bodys posted that look real nice and I know you like them. EDIT>>>>> It's Rev's fault I have this new wagon!
I'm not looking for a wagon. I don't know if I ever relayed the story on the Corvette but it was on the local craigslist so I was bugging the wife. NO she says. This went on for 9 days. Final she was so disgusted with me she said "do what you want", which clearly means NO. So I went and bought it. LOL. It only took her two days to start speaking to me again. I've been married for almost 40 years and I clearly know what "do what you want means". I figured I'd get forgiveness later anyway. I wouldn't mind having another wagon but I'm completely out of space. 4 cars at the house now. I can see me trying to get her car evicted from the garage so I can have another. Not going to happen in this life time.
Hey, that's what they make them portable carports for - the ones you buy at HD. Got me a classic wagon - finally! It was in Wisconsin, And Silverfox was kind enough to check it out for me. Only 22k miles on it when I bought it. Put a new headliner in it a few weeks ago. Couple minor issues I will attend to. Drives great - I love it. Good to hear from you, Steve! Marshall
