Thanks, I can't wait to get rolling on it. It has a super solid/straight body with the original paint (or lack of) still on it. I have most every piece found that needed attention. This vehicle is an exact clone in model level, color, trim and drivetrain to our original family one owner 2-door sedan right down to the interior. I have been collecting the needed pieces for a while just wrapping up a few for the interior before starting on it. I now have two vehicles that would appear to be from the same DNA strand minus one genome. One in 4-door sedan wagon form and one in 2-door sedan form. It really was something to find as a mate to the other car. Maybe it was meant to be.
That wagon looks fantastic! Not one that you see very often. For that matter, not one you saw often when it was new, either. Is that a Fury I or Fury II? I'm guessing the II by the strip of chrome down the side. The Fury II, at least here, was never a common model. If you couldn't afford the nicer things, you got the basic Fury I, and if you could afford better, you went for the Fury III, since there was not a huge jump in price. The Fury II was always sort of Sunday's Stepchild in the lineup. Can't wait to see both the 2 door and wagon all done up perfectly. Now all you need to find is the Fury II 4 door sedan to complete the collection! Too bad there was never a Fury II convertible. Then you would really have the entire gamut!
