You can come over to my place and do what I have been putting off for way too long. Maybe the change of scenery will motivate?:)
I have a motorcycle that has been on my bench for going on 4 years!! I have so many projects I just don't know where to start. I want to simplify things and just do one project.

That engine looks good, just imagine how nice it will feel to get that in and running.
I know the weather round here will get ya down sometimes. So will the lack of funds.

I did it! I did it! Forced myself in there... decided to work more on the engine.. finding little pieces needed to finish.. although I couldn't come up with a belt that fit and that got frustrating.. but I've got one on the way. Yes, just getting myself in there and doing something DID help and I'm fired up again to get things done. I too want to get it out and driving so I can have fun in it.. even tho' I'm a bit of a fiddler when it comes to getting everything just so.. so realistically it probably won't be until spring until everything is buttoned up and it's finally on the road. But thanks much for the motivation.. at least for now it seems to have helped.

Yes, I too am a scheduler, break it down into small tasks.. Far from my first project.. I've had many.. but this is the first time I had trouble getting my butt into the shop.. somebody slap me! Ha!

    Ok.. back to wrenching....

    Engine pulled!

Happy to report that I finally got the engine and tranny pulled in the '58. Now I can commence with scraping, cleaning and painting. Then getting the wiring sorted and making it all look real purdy! Phone pics..so not the best.

Glad you finally got inspired. Just a little at a time. When you get burned out, do something else.
Maybe take a day off and eat Turkey!:dancing:
