I like that 22" screen blocking all forward vision idea. Life is like a box of Plasma, you'll never what hit ya!

I think my next project, this time under a new heated garage, will be a mate to this one with a 4 speed standard. My wife hates slush-o-matics! She's a hell of a driver too, cutting her driving teeth in Monterrey, MX. - 6 million people and 60% of them drive - loco - motion style!:rofl:

She loves the wagon! If she had a 1981 Escort Squire Wagon, she'd never be home. No kiddin'! Up here, they're rust buckets. I've got my brother in law looking for another one like mine with a standard, then I'd do the SVO drivetrain in it on the floor, of course. She's a wagon nut too. Good taste in cars and women - what else is there?:D

Thanks everybody! And the engine is actually a 2002 Chevy Silverado 5.3 with a 4L60e overdrive trans. Well I guess I'm ready for my "Vacation" now. I'm leaving for Litle Rock Arkansas, on saturday morning for the Hot Rod Power Tour. Should be a good time!

Hey everyone, well I'm back from the Power Tour, was a great time! Drove about 2500 miles, got a best of 20.7 mpg, not great but I guess it's not too bad considering how big the car is. I probably averaged 18 or so. I ran it at the track at Heartland Park, Topeka, with a best time of 14.9 at 94 mph. It dosen't hook up very well, was spinning the right rear tire a LONG ways! With a 3.50 or 3.73 gear and a posi, I'm sure I could better that time. Also ran it in a small autocross in Ames Iowa, was fun but it really needs some suspension upgrades if I'm gonna do that again! But all in all I had fun, and the car got alot of attention. Car people get it, but non-car people just think it's just another woodgrained station wagon.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMU2Ld0QgZc

thats pretty darn good! Let me know when you want to upgrade the suspension. I've heard about your car on a couple other forums. Its pretty popular.

I get 16-19 mpg in mine, so 20 isn't too bad since you can run 14's with the stock gearing!
