I don't know if I'd go as far tosay it's restored, but it does have a real nice clean look with the paint a wood redone but no freeken way it's a $9300 car.

Dash, scratched up and a black dash pad...and whats under thee pillow on the drivers seat?

Does not apear the door jams etc were painted, but they are all clean looking

It is nice and clean, wish there were pics of the cargo area, and the drivers seat. The dash really turns me off though, real nice looker but no way $9300

"Restored" but the driver's seat was redone in vinyl? I agree, Tedy, that dash pad is also suspect. Mind you, it is very well equipped. That dual power seat option was over $600 in 1989, so not all that common. It is a lovely car, no doubt, but there are way better deals out there. I also wonder why a car that new needed THAT much body work to wrack up a repair bill that size. Also, why an engine and transmission rebuild? There is much more to the history of this one than is being let on. Plus, with that much work and money into the car, why sell it? My thinking is that they have spent $15,000 on a $5,000 car, and that is being generous.

I'm getting a different impression on this one.
    Reading into the ad.......
    - It's being sold by the original owner.
    - He likes the wagon (otherwise, he wouldn't have thrown so much money at it)
    - He's not worried about money.
    - He pays top dollar for his repairs.

    I like this one - a lot. I just can't afford it.

The only option I'm surprised not to see here is the luggage rack wind deflector. I'd love to be able to buy this one.

I really do love the noses on the older CP's like this, but like the Dash in the 90-91's. Ain't that always the way it goes? LOL!

CE: I'll take the earlier dash any day. No airbags, for one. Also, the top line stereos had 6, not 4, speakers. The 90/91 dash didn't have provision for the upper two front speakers. Also, to compensate for the lack of the dash speakers, the front door speakers are different, and you lose the handy map pockets. Also, the 89 and older speedo is easier to read. I've lived with both.

the air bags keep my insurance price down. I just listen to AM radio, typically, so don't worry too much about that. I like the wide speedometer, better, my Caprice's is similar.
