I was wondering about his absence, too. I'm sure he's just busy. There's no way he found friends cooler than us!!

You and Xavier wander off from time to time. But you always come home!

He isn't trying to take it out. He's trying to find the volume to turn it up.

I'm sorry all. As some of you know I don't have internet and haven't most the year. I've been using my old phone but now it's out. I can still get online but only in short bursts and posting is nearly impossible. I have been forced into lurkerdom. I have only been getting on long enough to check up on 1tireman. Glad to hear you're doing okay all things considered. :thumbs2: praying for ya 1tireman and all of those who've been affected by Isaac.

I have been really busy lately. I'm not far from starting chapter three on my novel. I tend to edit a lot as I go so it slows me down a bit.

Thanks everyone for your concern. Ain't nobody cooler than the SWF. As soon as I can get a properly working phone you will see me on here more. I'm on some one elses iPhone. Hate apple! Anyways, I didn't know this thread was here and I didn't realize it had been so long since I posted.

We do have a couple of resident spiders. Though, thankfully, they aren't that big. And we live across the street from Chicago's second largest cemetery... Oddly I haven't gone in it yet. All we have is a laptop and the screen is broken. It's hooked up to a monitor so you can imagine it doesn't do much traveling. We are getting things in order, though. I will try to get on the Forum when possible but until I can get a good phone again my pressance will be kinda scarce.

Keep on lurking my friend. About the cemetary, it's okay for you and Zoe to go in there to visit. But please come back out. It's not a place for the living, except for the spiders and snakes !
If you carry the monitor and Zoe carries the laptop you can probably get a good signal near the large iron gates of the cemetary.
Keep on lurking and we will keep on writing things about you. :rofl2:Have a spooktacular day.

Glad to hear things are going okay for you Xav. You are still working your way through the move but it is nice to know that things are progressing toward a positive result.

Now that we know you are computerless/phoneless we at least know you are doing the lurking thing until you are back on line.

    You two take care,

Might just leave him be - he's probably just waiting for the mouse that enticed him in!
Once digested, he'll leave when he get's hungry.
    [The garter snake!]
Couple more days, and I was gonna send the troops to look for Xav - glad he's O.K.!

X - would that be Graceland Cemetery? If so, it's worth the visit. There are a lot of famous Chicagoans buried there with interesting monuments. I don't normally do cemetery tours, but my son is an architecture grad student at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago and a gentleman named Mies van der Rohe is his "patron saint" of Architecture and he's buried there so we visited.

Hope things keep getting better for you - thanks for the update!
