The cars, wagons, and household goods can be replaced or repaired. let's hope 1tireman and all of his family are okay. I'm sure they are without power and got at least some damage. Perhaps that well built garage did what they hoped for.

On the news they're reporting that 900,000 are without power. Let's hope that's all that they lost.

The pics on the news look really bad. Are they close to the flooded areas?

We are all worried here, Tman! I sure hope your ONLY problem is a short power outage. You and the family are in my thoughts and prayers.

NBC Nightly News is reporting from Slidell, LA (1 Tire's home) tonight - looks bad. Water was 5 feet up the walls of downtown buildings. I hope he and his family are OK.

It's a bit of a nail biter waiting for him to check in isn't it. Whenever I see those pics on news I wonder how those people ever recover from this kind of event. Man some of those folks have done this twice.
We're thinking about you 1T hope your save and sound.

Yep, it is the waiting for us that is hard, and for 1Tire there has to be friends, relatives, work place, that are all at risk at the moment. He has a lot on his plate to deal with. Eventually he will get to us, but in the meantime the thoughts and prayers all help in one way or another. So keep them going and don't hold our breath for a response. He'll be a busy boy for a while, if only to be out helping others if his place and family are okay.

One nice thing is he knows we are out here, that we are all concerned about how things are going for he and his family, and he knows we won't let him down by not keeping an eye on the news and watching for his response.

This truly is a great "family" forum.

1tireman and family checking in and all is well. About a hour after my last update it got a little intense with the wind really picking up and loss of power but we got power just a few minuites ago and wanted to check in with my wagon family. Thanks for everyones concern and I know I sound like a broken record but y'all are the best! Thoughts and prayers for my neighbors across town, they had it rough with the lakes and rivers coming up causing them to flood. I was only inconvienenced for a few days, they will have weeks or nmonths of inconvienence.
    Thanks again Wagon Family!
