That's a super looking car for a 68. Wonder if that Comfortron still works, they tended to be very problematic.

Beautiful wagon. The best color combination for this year.
Only thing I might do to it if it was mine would be a disc upgrade.

    I'm not " SURE "
But didn't this wagon just sell on Ebay about a month or so ago?
I thought someone posted the auction on the board. And Everything about
it is pretty much the same, except the wheels...... ?????

There was another caprice wagon , in fact the owner or so they claimed was his wagon. The guy wanted I believe like 12k or some crazy stupid price for it. It wasn't the stock car, had a different 396 in it.

This one is far and away a better wagon not needing even a quarter of the work his did. As of rite now this one is just above 4k. The only thing that caprice had over this one was the hideaway headlamps. Is that option worth paying 8k more ? I don't think his caprice wagon sold.

No, wasn't this one, the other caprice was up maybe a month or so ago. The seller came to the forum and was upset because I told him he wanted an outragious price for it.

I'll have to look for it on my viewed pages. It wasn't the one Forever-27
is thinking of. ( I TOTALLY remember that thread ! ) Anyhow, the seller
would have to " Fess -up " because the title would show a very recent
    purchase date. I might just e-mail the seller. I mean I don't think he's a
flipper or anything. Maybe just isn't what he wanted. And the one on Ebay
was also from WV. And same color. And miles.........
I'll let you all know when I get an answer. It really wasn't meant as a negative
Just curious...... That is a rare care!

Wish it was mine. First thing I'd do is put the stock wheels back on and some nice whitewalls.

This may sound odd, but I think I prefer the blue 68 Impala over this Caprice. The Impala seems to have less to undo.

This guy reminds me of the 74 Buick guy from a couple months ago.
Remember..... It was red and worth 10 Million dollars and he had friends
bidding on on it. Well, I'm thinking it's pretty " Fishy " that the first time
this car was on Ebay it took till the last day to get into the $8,000 range
and NOW it's already at $11,000.00 reserve not met. I'm thinkin' Flipper.
And friends bidding! Just my 2 cents.
