Jr won the NASCAR Sprint race yesterday at Michigan. His last win was 4 years ago at the same track......the drought is over!
I know...coooooll! I had to work this weekend but when I got home I took hubby to the local watering hole for supper and a beverage. I asked the waiter if he could change the channel on the big screen, after I asked a few other folks if they minded, no one did so the waiter changed it. There was no volume but it didn't stop a bunch of us from watch the BIG win. We went straight home so we could get caught up with all the post race comments...got to love that Tony Stewart. So many folks chimimg in to congratulate Jr on his win.
We were at the race and i am happy as well, my wife is a fan of Dale Jr. so I am happy for her. Several years ago when we were there and Matt Kenseth won and my son is a huge fan. Always love going down to the Motor City area.
It was definitely the Batman car that made him win lol. I'm a big Jr. fan and have been waiting for a win. I'm thrilled!
Wow you were there! The place must have been electric? We're going to Loudon in July. The first time we went Harvick won(my guy) he came down and did his burn out right in front of us, got some pretty good pics between all the fans cheering.
Usually we go in August but she decided to switch to the June race, was neat being there on Father's day, 4 years after he won at the same track. It was weird as even the non JR. fans were cheering at the end of the race. So she is happy, now she can go back to watching every race on TV and I am off to some car shows this weekend. Life is great for everyone
