A 'Woody' Adirondack chair that is............

This is a cheap kit that we bought years ago at the HD. Wifey got hers first, and she painted it herself, blue with flowers. She's really artsy-craftsy. So a couple of years after she got hers, I bought another kit for me. This was down in Orange County, years ago. Finally decided to put it together.

Covered it with 4 coats of Varithane. Put some custom pin-striping on it, too...

You bugger I thought you got a new/old car.

I really like those chairs, they can be hard to get out of though. But with all that varithane you should slide out pretty easily. See you got the beer bottle holder model. (y) Nice and the stripes look really cool too.

The first thing that I thought before reading Fannie's post was "bugger" as well. Maybe it's a maritime provinces thing. Congrats on your new "woody" Krash!

A comfy wooden chair, a cold adult beverage, and a fine handmade cigar = a pretty durn fine Saturday afternoon in my book.
    Love the pinstripes. :thumbs2:
I have a couple of these that I got years ago sitting on my covered front porch. They have the OE single coat of watered down varnish.
I was going to paint them white, but now I'm not so sure.
Flames would be out of the question, even for me.
SWMBO wouldn't let me go that far, even if I wanted to.

Well, the title of the thread was deceiving. I was almost certain it had nothing to do with golf or other woody things. But let's not get personal!
Don't tell your wife, but I think your chair looks much nicer.
Love to have a couple of those on my new front porch that I'm gonna build someday. Someday after I remove the double windows and put in a set of patio doors, someday.;)
    SO, WHERE'S THE WOODY WAGON?
