I am considering selling my beloved Volare wagon. I have not fully decided to let her go yet, but the right price from the right buyer might make it happen. I am NOT selling it to some kid that will trash it in a week. I have a lot of work, even more sweat and even a little blood invested in this F body. Notice I did not mention money........I don't even want to go there. I have plenty of receipts to remind me. Anyhow, I know this is not the place to advertise and the mods will probably move this thread, but if interested, go to the Gallery and look on page 5, I think it is. The only Volare there. It is Sahara Beige. Plenty of extra stuff comes with it, including a whole front clip with nice grille. If interested, e-mail me for all the details. thehammetts@atmc.net

Hi, Rev. I have too many cars. Wife has 2 and I have 3, plus I am supposed to get another one in the next day or so to use as a daily driver. The wagon just sits in the driveway and I haven't driven it 500 miles this year. I keep it tagged and insured and jump in it occasionally to go to the store. It is in great shape, runs and drives like new. It also has cold air. I just think it might be getting close to time to let somebody else enjoy it. I plan to retire at the end of this year and some of the wheeled goods will have to find a new home then. I guess I could store it in the garage, but I really don't care to do that, as I use the shop to work in. It sure won't hurt me if I don't sell it. She is an awesome little ride with the modified 360/727.

Southport is about 25 miles South of Wilmington. Sits on the Cape Fear River. NC hyw. 211 ends at the Southport/Fort Fisher ferry.

I have been here for 31 years. Don't guess I am going anywhere. This place is building up at an alarming rate. When I moved here, the intersection of Long Beach Road and NC 211, had only a stop sign to control traffic. Now, you have to wait 2 or 3 complete 4 way cycles of the light to get through the intersection. A major problem during tourist season.

Sounds like the rest of NC growing at a alarming rate.

Might have been me....79 Volare wagon, 318-4BBL, 904 and 2.45 geared axle as I got it, put in an a999 with low gear set and 2.9 suregrip axle from a cop car, also cop car front sway bar, 1" rear sway bar, dakota rear springs, buckets, center console and floor shift, sport mirrors, cop car wheels and fat tires, MP ignition....etc....
Ran nice, handled well, sold it to some guy in the Netherlands....it must have cost him a small fortune to ship it overseas...
