I want to start a collection of pics of wagons with their tailgates open, and maybe detail shots of the striker plates areas and the top of the tailgate if the glass rolls down into it, I need to find seals and and the wiper style rubber that cleans the glass as it rolls down into the tailgate, I'm sure other will find this use full to see if other wagons might have something similar if it's readily available. On 63-65 Fairlane wagons there is seals on the area near the striker plates, on the body and and one long one around the bottom of the tailgate, there also is a threshold on the bottom across the tailgate. If anyone know what works please do tell!!!
1972 Cutlass Wagon I have been working on the interior for a couple months. Might be finished next month.
tailgate seal studebaker wagonaire I also am looking for the bottom seal on a studebaker wagonaire-if anyone knows what would work please let me know, thanks Cathy
This is a good place to continue this thread. Hopefully I can find some pictures of my wagon tailgate open and add them. It would be interesting to see other tailgates open and partially opened, as Harry C. did
I started one of these threads last month. Never knew it was something already going. Here is mine the day I put in new seals even!
Ahh, memories of going on backroad trips with my grandma and grandpa when I was real little, and the back of their 77 Impala wagon (same color too) used as my mobile playroom.
