I love it! based on the body pics I could never mess with a car like that, I wouldn't touch the body but presurve...... not many know what a 'origonal' looks like/was built.

Interesting in that its a later 62 production Fury. The trim was changed partway through the model year, and this one has the trim that was used on Furys in the later part of the model year.

This is next door to me. If any one needs a extra set of eyes on it let me know.To many other projects for me or I might go take a look. The 2 64 880,s and 68 A-100 and my 62 Buick Limo will keep me busy for a bit.

Jim and I had a long discourse on this a day or two ago in another thread. Jim educating, me reading.
    ..................................................

On a side note, I have always liked these Plymouths and Dodges. I even remember when the auto magazines were speculating in early 1961 what the 'new' '62 Plymouths were gong to look like. Apparently some spy photographer got a photo of a prototype that showed twin headlights on one side, but only a single headlight on the other side. The magazine deduced that Chrysler was going to try asymmetrical styling. All it was was two different styling proposals done on one clay mock-up, something that the stylists do all the time now....

I like the trim better on the Fury wagons from earlier in the model year.

I hope whoever bought it comes on here. I'd love to see more pics of it.
Hey Dan, that Buick Limo looks pretty cool. I don't know that I've ever seen one before. Do you know the history of it and, oh yeah, feel free to post more pics of it.

2 of These where made from a 62 Electra 4dr sedan. I have a copy of the build sheet /ledger from the builder Flxible Corporation . I have never been able to get a exact answer why they where made. 1 is here on west coast and 1 was or still is on the east coast as of a few years ago.

Thanks for the pics Dan. What a fun car that must be. My granddad had a maroon '62 Buick Invicta convertible. I loved that car. He never put the top down and I always wondered why he bought a convertible; he might just as well have had a hardtop. Needless to say, every time he'd come over to visit, I'd run out and put it down, much to his frustration. I should've bought that car from him when he traded it in for a '67 Mustang. The problem was I was only 13 when he did that.
