Wife did not say she was sorry for the car, but she took the family to dinner tonight at Chuy's. She sure knows what makes me happy.....fajitas and Dr. Pepper. I'll be dead soon......hahahaha.

When I get upset with her I have to remember that "it's different for girls"....

We had a daschound a few yrs ago and he got cancer and had to be put down. Love animals but now the kids are grown and gone so the wife wanted new carpets and furniture to replace what the dog had done damage to over the years.
We didn't want any more animals so we can do what we want, when we want. Have a neighbor who has a dog we go over and play with when he is out on the line. Get our fix of having a pet without the hassles. Like having grandchildren.......you can hand them back.

They are like grand kids. My daughter moved into our nanny flat last weekend. She took the dog with her, I haven't seen that dog all week. Yesterday morning I getting ready for work, I here this scratching, the dogs at the door. I let her, she goes straight the cupboard where the snacks used to be. I didn't have any so I'm trying to pet her, she heads straight to the door wants back out.:disagree: Yipe JUST like grand kids! :rofl2:

Handsome dog you got there. Looks like an excelent addition to the family.
As for your loving wife expiditing some needed work to the car...
Well, like you said, you were meaning to get around to it. Would make things less irritating if she would fess up or at least apologize.
My wife is similar it that regard. To her, our Mercury is a mode of transportaion. It is also a mode of "Running into things" She is amazing.
Thats why when I bought my truck I made sure it was a 5 speed. If she can't drive it, she can't drive into things with it.
