need some tire and rim advice quick. I am looking at some tires and rims for my 95 roadmaster wagon on craigslist. Other than impala SS wheels, what will fit? Whats the bolt pattern (save me a trip to my shop). There are a ton of camaro, firebird and vette wheels...........will they fit ok? Also, whats the largest tire/rim size the stock wheel wells will accomodate? Thanks in advance. also, will 07 escalade wheels fit?
5x5, below is a link to bolt pattern chart. http://www.roadkillcustoms.com/hot-....asp?LugCount=5&StudSpreadInch=5&StudSpreadMM
Your lug pattern is the classic 5 lug 5", or 5 on 5...the center of the studs are 5" center to center. The 07 Escalade is a six lug pattern. In trucks if you stick to some in the half ton range you should be fine. Any GM 5 lug should fit your car. Back spacing only becomes an issue on something front wheel drive.
These will fit 1/2 ton 2wd GMC/Chevy 5 bolt pattern wheels 1/2 ton GMC/Chevy full size van with 5 bolt pattern Older RWD Caddys are 5 on 5 Astro/Safari vans were also 5 on 5. Also the brake pads, rotors and calipers are the same as are the rear drums and brake shoes from the above and will work on your Roadie. These will not All mid sized cars and S10 were 5 on 4 3/4 bolt pattern. Monte Carlo/Grand Prix/Cutlass/Regal, S10, Corvette, Camaro/firebird, Caprice sedan(wagons were 5 on 5 tho) Chevelle and their counterparts. I have had as large as 255/7015s on my stock 15x7 Roadie wheels, they were a real tight squeeze to get under the low fender opening and filled it up very nicely. On the front, 235/75/15 will fit, but rub the frame at full wheel lock.
As long as the Impala is before 93' or so it should be fine. If it's rear wheel drive, for sure. Thats a good deal for wheels and tires.
buyer beware on the imp 17" wheels.... as a prior 94 impala ss owner, I have found that bfg has discontinued the 255/50 17 that was standard on the impala for that wheel. For that reason i am running 15" suburban wheels on my 84 caprice. I have heard of people converting their wagon to the more popular 5x4.75 bolt pattern not sure what parts are needed to do that though.
There are tons of rims out there in all sizes that have the 5X5 bolt pattern. Really no need to convert to 4.75. Stock Chevy truck rallyes with the center caps and trim rings are 5X5.
Dodgeguys right! Take it from a guy who has 19" billets off a 99 Toyota truck on his 74 Plymouth Satty.
I think I am gonna pass on the impala rims anyway. The guy has been jacking me around for a couple of days and they arent really the look I am trying to achieve anyway. If anyone else wants to take advantage of this deal, hit me up and I will pass along the guys number.
