180k miles. 5.7 V8, loaded, 3rd row seat, everything works. No radio or speakers (my kid needed them worse than I did apparently). Tires are new, new brakes, new waterpump, new washer pump motors front and rear. Just bought this for my 17yr old to drive, he jacked the radio and chose to drive a car his mother bought him instead. Must be that POS didnt have a sound system :)

    2k takes it.

Personally, I'd 'jack' the radio right back from him - especially if he didn't pay for the wagon.

Post up some more pics - you might get some interest here.

I second that. Good luck with the sale, though. I would love to own one of those, myself, but I want to find the Olds Cruiser.

I too would 'jack' the radio right back. You get the kid a car that he can carry all his friends in and still take it to Old Dominion Speedway in Manassas (a 1/8 mile track) or Mason Dixon Dragway in Hagerstown (a 1/4 mile track), and get respectable runs, and all he wants is the radio?:taz:

    Buy a kid 2 cars.,........We have young'ns dying for there first car/wagon

I paid for my own, it has a 1 speaker AM Radio, and I liked it then...and I like it now....If I ever get it on the road again that is!:rofl2:

No ofence but IMO having the sterio and speakers removed because " the other car needed it, etc"....... was the removal done clean? Maybe some more pics of the dash and speaker areas. Was this removal done "auto wreaker style", or done neet and clean. Again, no offence but it doesn't sound like the gift car ment anything.

"Don't look a gift car in the radio";)

Was it a factory radio? If so why would anybody want to jack one of those things and the speakers? Can buy a better sounding set-up brand new for near nothing anywhere.
It looks like the radio was removed okay at first glance. The trim plate is hard to see though, the door panels and rear side panels could be victims of speaker removal too.
I'd be more concerned with rust and how it runs and stops myself, what else really matters except for the tires?:)

How is the underside? These do tend to rust if they've spend much time in salt. Car looks pretty good! Same colors as my '96.

To answer your questions, no WE didnt buy the kid 2 cars. I bought him one, he didnt follow the rules so I booted his ass out of the house. Then his mother (divorced) bought him a car and he kindly returned mine, MINUS the stereo and speakers. And NO it wasnt a factory unit. The removal wasnt very clean or nice, and yes the door panels suffered.

On another note, I think I will keep the car and prepare it for his brother who seems to appreciate it more and is months away from having his license. He has his learners permit already.

Maybe some rims and wide tires and some fresh paint for the exterior and a new stereo for the interior. Its a good car and I hate to give it away. Thanks for all the input.

That is a nice looking wagon. But I'm guessing there are bare wires hanging everywhere under that dash and in the doors. Is it legal to kill teenagers in Va?
I'm picturing my wife and I coming up there to camp at that State Park, a nice cave tour, and driving that wagon home. But it ain't gonna happen.
Since I know kids personally, I know this ain't the first one who did something like that.
I missed the above post. Forgot to click "2" to continue. Sounds like a great plan. Keep the wagon and stick around here to keep us up on it's future. Maybe we'll get you hooked on station wagons too.
