This is my second Wagon, my first I owned in pre-inter-web days. It was a 69 Ford, 390 powered beast. That was back in 1982. I wish I still had it. Now I have an 82 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser. It was new when I had my first wagon. I bought it because I was without transportation and it was in good shape. Now I am finding I really get a kick out of it. I am also finding its something I have to share, you see my dog has become addicted to riding in it. Sam is a 115 lb Bluetick hound that isnt usually comfortable in transit. He looks mean in the pics but is really a sweet tempered dog, which is good as big as he is. Pics are in my galley. When I get back to work and get a little money in the pocket I have a few plans for the Wagon. But until then its a great way to get around.
Welcome! ALL RIGHT A NEW GM !I AM NEW HERE ALL SO and have found It's a great place to find help, HAVE some fun and talk wagons, with great pepole and of course share .I tkink you will enjoy the ride on this craZy train ,looks like a good project AND I HATE TO SAY THIS BUT, nice dog keep us posted , tll then stay safe, stay cool
Its a small world Straycat, our other pet is a 13 lb dark calico named Socks. Now imagine a hound dog and a cat that looks like a racoon living in the same house. Seriously they get along now, but the first time Sam saw her he tryed to tree her. She didn't like him much then, now she reaches out to tag him from a chair being mischievious. I also notice Tireman is from Slidell, ran through there a few times, I lived in Shreveport and Mansfield for a while, my wife is from LA. Family farm is still up north near Jackson. I miss the runs to Robert LA i did in my last company. I run a radius of about 300 miles from Kansas City now. Tomorrow I get my new heater core in and will put that in along with a new thermostat. Its cold out and I dont think the engine heats like its supposed too. I am sure the tempgauge is off and it doesnt put out heat for a while. The heater core leaks. The good news is they are pretty cheap! So I wont freeze this winter. Thanks for the welcome on board guys.
to the wagon train, marc. That 82 looks in great shape. And Sam's got a nice set up...why WOULDN'T he like it?? Hope to see more of you, the 82 and Sam around here.
