Just got back from Big M Auto in Williams,Ca. with this 1960 Edsel Villager
6 passenger wagon. It's one of 216 six passenger made. the car is complete but needs alot of love. hope to get it running this weekend.

car was stored outside for many years in the Bay Area near Oakland,Ca.

It has the 352-4v engine, cruiseomatic auto trans, power steering & brakes. the outside color is Seafoam green with a Sherwood green interior.

    should be a fun project:)

Congratulations! That is a rare one! John at Big M is a great guy, and a good friend.

What are your plans for this Edsel? Keep us updated!

I always liked the Edsel wagons and it does not look like it will need too much work. Should be plenty of room for christmas presents in there

    Great find there!
You've got the benefits of the unique '60 Ford wagon styling, but with the Edsel bonus. Keep us filled in on the restoration process - start a thread in our 'project' section....

Congrats Alphues; that is indeed a very rare find and it looks to be in restorable shape. Best of luck with it; can't wait to watch it brought back to its former glory. 73super, I'll be the glass is interchangeable with the 60 Fords.

I didn't even know they made an Edsel that didn't have the iconic 'horse collar' front grill.. Very cool find!

    Beautiful.
I still regret not latching onto an abandoned 59 Edsel wagon nerby when I was in my early 20's. (probly went to the crusher)
Keep us posted. Love to see it has been saved.
