Speaking of rust, mine has beginning rot around the back windows, too (below the lower crome trim, this is just a fine place for water and moisture). Has anyone already removed these back windows? I suppose they are also glued in. How do you remove them without damaging anything? What kind of glue was used in the factory?
And then, I have another issue: especially when reving up the 455 there often is a strange cklicking/tickling noise coming out of the engine bay... it seems to be more worse when the engine is warm, anyone familiar with that?

I dont know... my wagon windows leak too and have some rust. Also about the engine tick... my 73 Pontiac (with a 455) has "ticked" for the past 9 years I have owned it... never has caused a problem or got any worse and I have put about 30K on it.

You can add another to the list. I picked up a 70 Estate Wagon last week. It's a numbers matching car with a 455. It hasn't seen the road since 1982 and has been stored indoors with 69000 original miles. I couldn't believe the condition when I first looked at it. Everything original with no rust.

I know of a beautiful rustfree original white one with black vinyl top here in Albuquerque. It's not for sale though!!!!

1970 Buick Estate 9 seater for sale

    Hi guys

I'm going to sell my 1970 Buick Estate Wagon. You might have seen it for sale here earlier? See http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15518

I'll let it go for $11.500, 9000,- euro or kr. 70.000,- norwegian kroner with all the extra parts.

I'll help the best way I can if exported from Norway. I'll have a place to store it for this winter if needed.

Michael: For pics, you can copy them from the link in other thread.

The 2011 Buick Club of America (BCA) Roster lists six 2-seat 1970 Estate Wagons,
and six 3-seat wagons in the club. Those are just the ones in the BCA, so there's
no way to know how many actually remain. Still, 12 is not a large number,
so they could be considered quite rare.

I was told the exact same thing when I went to buy tires. It hadn't occurred to me they weren't common anymore. I did end up finding that size in with whitewalls at Firestone.:thumbs2: Snows with whitewalls- that's a different story.

So anyone have any leads on parts for a 70 Estate? I need some interior trim pieces, and a few other things

    Hey guys,

Read something about a list of all existing 70 Buick estate.
    Would be interesting.

I got me one of those in January 2013.
Drove 8k miles since then and had a lot of fun.

    Regards from Germany
    Christoph.
