    BOO!

Phase 1 of what ended up a 3 drawing set. Not a C-cab, not a panel, this
fabricated hot rod started out life, more than likely, as a flower 'wagon'.
Now, having been rediscovered in the gloomy bogs of the old world,
thousands of miles from whence it began, likely a mid-western coach
builders shop, this mid 60's show rod now sees rebirth as the utility vehicle
    of witch it first begun.

Who's jumpin' who is the real question.... Moo-WaaaaHaHaHaHaaaaaaaa!!!!

The coffee stain was supposed to replicate the 'rust' old photos would get from chemical burn through. Good eye.

I think I just saw my first model building project for 2012...

I just have to decide which version...

if I ever get it finished I will certainly let everyone know where I got the inspiration. Thank you.

Great drawings. If those were mine those would be soda stains. Have some old photos with the real old tyme brown spots. Kinda like patina on cars. (y)

    Thanks all!!

Did I say you could? Ha Ha...
I appreciate the compliment. I think it's a great idea. I also think this one would be a cool model.
I may sculpt it some day, when I can get myself to that point and I'm on my own, not fettered
by the Simpsons and kids in school. (not that I'm complaining, mind you.)

(This is also for you Xavier. Also, I linked to my gallery on here if you go to the '61 Buick Special grocery getter thread I posted a few days ago.)

Here's one Im going to build from a Revell pair of '32 Coupes I spliced together to create a chop top Sedan. It looks good as a delivery but has 3 window doors
and incorrect side moldings, plus, Revell just released a deuce sedan so it leaves me all the parts I need to create the "Wooden Bucket."

It's an old pic. I've grown since then. Now I just suck beer, vodka, or gin. The occasional bottle of wine... :drink:

    Thanks everyone...

12 years from '89-2001 was enough time in LA to have gotten to the beaches once or twice.
I saw what the girls wear and the guys...
Venice beach is a scary place for reasons beyond the freaks, gang bangers and 'extroverts' and Moonies...
Let's just say the thongs were much more appealing on the girls and the only ones with the right shape to
wear them were on post cards in the souvenir shops....
