They're all garbage. Foreign and domestic alike. For the money of a new SUV, you could get her a nicely restored Old School Bronco or International Scout. It'd hold its value for many years to come, and its built rock solid.

Well, you could, but do you want you wife driving around in something that's not dependable, or necessarily safe?

Priority in my my household goes to having a safe and dependable family driver for the missus.....

bronco's and scouts are great trucks but Gen 1 bronco's are expensive and scout II's get really crappy gas mileage.

And I have to admit, creature comforts of new cars/trucks. Did a road trip this weekend with it, very comfee, very quiet ride and cost sqwat for fuil :yup:. I would have taken the Buick knowing the trip would have been the same, but being on propane I wasn't gona chance not knowing where or if I could fuil it if need be

But really,,, I've got "old" all over my driveway, one new is nice, and yeah, I'm not gona put my honey in a older even if restored what ever......

On the Island propane is not a problem, on the mainland this weekend I looked for but didn't see one gas station that offered propane.
