I went to the Hoosier Auto Show here in Indy back on the 16th and got a few wagon photos. These two were in the parking lot side by side, apparently here for the Goodguys rod show across town.
More wagons from the Hoosier Auto Show The white Merc was in a vendor space; I've seen it around Indy a few times now. The Nomad and F-85 were in the cars for sale area.
A couple more from the Hoosier The Corvair wagon was near the show field tent. (The show cars weren't there yet when I was at the show; if there were any wagons shown this year, I missed them.) The Chevy woodie was being hauled away; sorry about the fuzzy pics; a moving target combined with a pocket camera doesn't make for great photography, but I tried to get some shots anyway.
Was this show at the marion county fairgrounds, i miss living in indy, they have carshows somewhere almost every night, i used to go to walmart parking lot on friday nights to take my monte. Love the pictures of the wagons
Hoosier Auto show Yes, this show has been at the county fairgrounds for some time now. It was at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for years and years but they had some disagreement so it moved, then went back, then moved for good. I was a vendor there selling model cars and auto parts rom 1977-1996 so if you were there then and remember the red-haired guy with the beat-up old canvas canopy and the tent at the back of the space, that was me... Unfortunately, the show isn't what it used to be...it used to take me 2 days to walk everything, now I can do it in half a day.
